	A New Chapter So a new chapter begins and a new album for 2012 !! Jon and I have started working a new album for release in the Spring – most of the music tracks have been recorded and now it's time for the vocals !! The new "Clyve" sound will be slightly more stripped back with a soul jazz and will also feature a beautiful chilled summer track, named after one of my favourite places in the world "Lisboa". 	CLYVE LIVE AT PARTY IN THE CITY Clyve will be performing a one off "Unplugged" set on Friday 27th May at the Opening Night of the Bath Festival - known as the Party In The City. He will perform a 30 minute set of a mix of grooves, tracks from the album and a few suprise cover versions. The venue is Central United Reformed Church on Argyll Street (off Pulteney Bridge) Bath. Performing with him will be his co writer/producer Jon Birch and the soulful vocals of Sarah Bull & Alana Turnbull and also a few suprise guests !!! "We are on stage at 8.30pm – with a 30 minute set, featuring tracks from my album "The Beat Continues", including An acoustic latin version of "Reach" the Official Anthem for the Transplant Games and also tracks with a touch of George Michael, Beyonce and more. 	ALANA IS BACK We have a beautiful new addition to the Clyve crew !! Alana Turnbull, who previously performed alongside Clyve in the hit musical Jesus Christ Superstar, will be performing live and also feature on future recordings. Alana has an incredible voice and is also a very talented songwriter and musician in her own right, performing with her best friend Kelly Pullen. 	RETURN TO VALENCIA Clyve has just returned from Valencia, where he was in the studio recording, as well as linking up again and discussing future plans with manager Juan Santa Maria."It was great to be back in a city which holds so many good memories and I really enjoyed working on the new project with Alberto, Victor and Rafa and hope this is the start of great things". The team will also work on dancefloor mixes of "Reach" and "Like It When U Do It ". 	CLYVE LAUNCHES UK DATES WITH GLASTONBURY DJ LEGEND Clyve is in the process of finalising live UK dates to launch the album in early 2011 and will be joined on the line up by Mick Ringham – the first ever Glastonbury DJ. Mad Mick as he was known back in the day, returned to the world famous festival this year 40 years on to play the soul/ska tracks that he originally played 40 years before. 	THE BEAT CONTINUES......WITH DECEMBER RELEASE Well it's finally the time – Next month see's the release of Clyve's debut album The Beat Continues.....with Soul. The album consists of 10 Tracks and a style of various grooves from neo soul to R&B and a few dance vibes too. There are six original tracks and 4 cover versions from some of Clyve's favourite artists Kem, Lynden David Hall, Nate James and Lemar The album will be available to download on iTunes, Amazon as well as CD format. 	FALLES FESTIVAL REVISITED AND OTHER LIVE NEWS Plans are under way for an appearance at the Falles Festival in Valencia, Spain in March 2011. It's one of the most incredible events and one that Clyve appeared at over 10 years ago performing his dance chart hit "Painted Moon". "It will be great to go back to Valencia again and see old friends as well as working again with my European manager Juan Santamaria – Ola Valencia !!!! 	LET’S GET FUNKY/LOVE CALLS The two latest tracks for the album are now being mixed and although different vibes sit perfectly in the albums vein and groove. Let’s Get Funky features samples from the AWB's Pick Up The Pieces and the return of Jazzi P’s unique rap style – it’s a real dancefloor hit for sure. Love Calls is a laid back vibe, written and originally recorded by Chicago based soul artist Kem. "Always been one of my favourites and am loving it - Cath’s vocals are hot as usual too". 	JAZZI P TIME After many years I am so glad to be working again with Jazzi P on a few tracks for the album. Jazzi has had many chart hits with artists such as Kylie Minogue and DNA and will feature on the Transplant Games anthem “Reach” and also the next single “Let’s Get Funky”. Finally we have re-connected and I am so looking forward to doing the opening ceremony for the games at the Bath Abbey on Thursday 19th August with Jazzi and also with the Vocal Works Gospel Choir.
