	REACH THE ANTHEM Clyve has been asked to write and perform the first ever anthem for the Transplant Games, which this year returns to Bath. The song, co written as always with Jon Birch is called Reach – an uplifting track about how you can be stronger and faster even if the odds are against you – a true dedication to all of the games athletes and Clyve and Jon have donated all their time and will give all the monies made by sales to the allocated Transplant Charities. 	RAPSY After endless months of trying to find the right style of rapper for the album, finally found him in London town. Rapsy is a young rapper based in London and already getting a lot of interest in his recently released mixtape. "As soon as I heard Rapsy's "Holla At Your Guy", I knew he was the right one for the album." He will feature on at least two of the tracks and has already completed Set The Tone. 	REMIXES USA STYLE The new remix EP is due out in May, which will feature the DT House of Sound mix by David Taylor II. David is a real talented guy and has worked with some major artists in the USA. Based in Chicago, he gives the track a real street hip hop vibe. "I hope David and the DT House will remix more tracks from the album and maybe in future we will also work together on writing new tracks. Click here to read the full story

	REMIXES FROM THE BIG CITY Representing the UK house sound is London based Richard Taylor, who is part of the Soul Underground network. Richard has previously worked with the Pet Shop Boys and many other chart artists and has remixed "Like It" with a real Italian house feel. "It's sure to go down well on the club scene and I hope Richard will also perform at some stage in the future." Click here to read the full story

	TWO MORE TRACKS IN PRE PRODUCTION After a break we are heading back into the studio to record two more tracks on the album. One track was written and originally recorded by Chicago based neo soul singer Kem and the other an original track in a dance mode with a sample of the AWB's "Pick Up The Pieces". These are two different tracks that add more styles of groove to the album. "I saw Kem, who is one of my favourite artists, perform in NYC 5 years ago and from that day I always wanted to do a remake of the track – hope he likes it!!" Click here to read the full story

	Maybe Christmas Out of the blue came a request for Clyve to write and record a Christmas single – Jon B created a track and Clyve added the finishing touch. "Although it's a race against time – we're gonna give it a go" The track is called "It's Christmas (Hang Up The Mistletoe)" and will feature other vocalists along with a Gospel Youth Choir. 	Dance Remixes Soon to be Released To follow up the success of “Like It When U Do It Like That” there will be a remix EP finally released in December. They will feature mixes by David Taylor II’s Chicago’s DT House Of Sound, London’s Richard Taylor and Flavio from Brazil – all great mixes with various dance floor grooves – exact release date to be announced. 	Two More Tracks Mixed Two more tracks done and dusted – both up-tempo – “Spend The Night Wit U” is a guitar riffed funked up song written with someone in mind and the NYC influenced “We’re Gonna Funk U” which features great vocals from the Sista’s and all sorts of sweeping synths and even Manhattan street sounds – one to be remixed many times I am sure. 	What About Love Clyve has finished recording the ballad of the album. It’s called “What About Love” and was written and originally record by the award winning UK RnB artist Lemar. “I think this is the most beautiful song I have ever recorded and always been a favourite of mine”. “I hope that this may be a future single” You can hear and see images on You Tube now. 	Today – The Release Of “Like It When U Do It Like That” Yes today, Tuesday September 8th sees the release of my new single "Like It When U Do It Like That". 	New York Photoshoot Where else for Clyve to have a photo shoot than in the place he calls his second home – New York City. Originally planned for a skyscraper roof top, Clyve was relieved to be transferred to a recording/photo studio in Greenwich village as he is not too hot with heights !!! Was a scorching day of nearly 100 degrees so was cooler there too even under the lights – was fun doing some live rehearsal shots along with some promos. Click here to read the full story

	New "Like It" Remixes – UK & USA The latest remixes of “Like It” have arrived and includes two cracking dancefloor jams from both sides of the Atlantic. From the UK is London based Richard Taylor (Blackheath Bints/Soul Underground), who has previously worked with The Pet Shop Boys, Ignorance, Blade and Betty Boo. It’s a touch of Italian house with a present day vibe and is sure to get you moving when it’s released on the forthcoming Dance remix EP. Also from the club scene in Chicago comes a mix from David Taylor II of the House of DT Music - a fusion of hip hop, rnb and dance – it’s hot !!! 	TRACK FIVE DOWN AND DUSTED Clyve has just come back from the studio after putting down some incredibly emotional vocals on the track ‘What about love’. The track was written by UK R’n’B artist Lemar and is one of Clyve’s favourite songs - one of those that just had to be on the album. The track features Clyve accompanied by Jon Birch’s haunting piano melodies and the smooth, sensational vocals of Cath Foxwell. This is the fifth track from Clyve’s forthcoming, as yet untitled, album and is certain to be the ‘unplugged’ song of the set and album. “After singing this beautiful song several times through I was an emotional wreck!” said Clyve after leaving Trevor’s Emporium Studio in Bath, UK. “Though to be honest, it’s the way I expected to feel with a song this close to my heart and with such meaningful lyrics.” Clyve is now heading overseas for a few days of well-earned relaxation time: “I’m off to Lisbon and Tuscany for a short break to re-vamp a few tracks I’m going to be recording very soon – watch this space!” We’re all sending big love to Trevor, who is spending a few days in hospital. 	IT’S REMIX TIME… We’re looking for three fantastic remixes of the soon-to-be-released single ‘Like it when you do it like that’ and already have some hotties laid down, including a bluegrass / country style - which is so wrong - yet incredibly it works! Remixers on both sides of the Atlantic are currently working on the track and we’re expecting to hear some hardcore dance flavours as well as the chilled ‘Buddha Bar’ vibes of an ambient mix. 	THE GIRLS AND THEIR PHOTOS Well Clyve and his Soul Sistas have just finished their photo shoot for the new website and CD cover - damn those girls are foxy!!!! “It was, as always, good fun to be with them and we laughed our way through the shoot with photographer, Deb Mortimer. Clyve said “It was great fun, as always, to be with the girls and we laughed our way through the shoot with photographer (and web designer) Deb Mortimer. Becky came up with the best moment when she strutted into the studio, eyes lighting up when she showed me her sexy green shoes. So gutted though – no feet shots! Sorry Becks!” As well as singing with Clyve, the girls are also busy on various projects, with Sarah performing in several high profile gospel concerts with Vocalworks Gospel Choir, Becky working hard on choreographing the live shows as well as in rehearsals for Sweeny Todd and Cath writing her own solo material, also due to released on uNYk Records. The new site will keep you up-to-date with all Clyve’s news, bringing you details of live performance dates and releases as well as the opportunity to listen to some of the album tracks before they are widely released. 	USA NEWS Adam McMath, who looks after Clyve’s affairs in the USA, is hard at work co-ordinating press releases, provisional PAs and live dates for later in the year, which will see Clyve return to Chicago and work with some influential musicians and producers including Bobby Duron. Clyve is getting excited about his return to the US and has plans to work with some fantastic artists: “I hope to lay down some vocals tracks with Marshall Titus, who Adam also represents. I would also love to track down and perform again with Kim English, who I performed with in front of over 100,000 people in Washington DC in 2001. Kim is such a lovely person and wow, what a voice – it was a real pleasure to be on the same line-up as her and I believe she is a Chi Town girl too, so I’ll be looking out for her.” Adam McMath, who is looking after Clyve’s affairs in the USA is working hard on preparing press releases and provisional PA and live dates for later in the year, which will see Clyve return to Chicago and work with some influential musicians and producers including Bobby Duron. 	RADIO AIRPLAY IN EUROPE Although the single 'Like it when you do it like that’ has yet to be released, radio stations across Europe are already buzzing about Clyve’s new album and filling the airwaves with the tracks. The track being played the most in Spain is ‘Set the tone’, a funky nu-soul groove written by UK R’n’B artist Nate James. ‘Set the tone’ will open Clyve’s live shows and is sure to get the crowd into the vibe from the very start!
